Professor Umar Garba Danbatta, the Executive Vice-Chairman/CEO of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), delivered a compelling speech at the “NCC Day” during the 18th Abuja International Trade Fair held at the Abuja Trade & Convention Centre, Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Way, Airport Road, Abuja. Providing valuable statistics, Prof. Danbatta stated that Nigeria had achieved significant milestones in the telecommunications sector, including 220.7 million active mobile subscriptions and 159 million active Internet subscribers as of August 2023.
