Amidst the global observance of International Girls in ICT Day, a remarkable stride was achieved on April 25th, as the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda by concluding a Digital Literacy Training Programme in collaboration with the Illimi Children Fund.
A hundred girls were equipped with essential skills across key areas outlined in the National Digital Literacy Framework during this initiative. The closing ceremony, adorned with snapshots capturing moments of triumph and empowerment, showcased NITDA’s unwavering dedication to providing avenues for growth and learning.
This initiative not only exemplifies NITDA’s commitment to fostering digital inclusion but also resonates with the vision set forth by President Tinubu’s agenda for a brighter future. Through partnerships and concerted efforts, such programs pave the way for a more empowered and digitally adept generation, in line with the broader goals of national development and progress.
