Tizeti Celebrates 12 Years of Resilience and Growth
Tizeti, the innovative internet service provider, celebrated its 12th anniversary over the weekend, marking a significant milestone in its journey of resilience and growth. Kendall Ananyi, CEO of Tizeti, shared the company’s recent achievements and future aspirations.
“Celebrating Tizeti’s 12th anniversary was truly special,” said Ananyi. “Our Ghana team gave us an early gift by completing their first profitable year after overcoming the challenges posed by the Ghanaian Cedi crash in 2022. The insights and resilience we developed from this experience are now helping us navigate the current instability of the Nigerian Naira.”
The financial stability of GhanaWifi allows Tizeti to focus on new expansions. The company is planning to launch services in Côte d’Ivoire while ensuring the profitability of its recent expansions across Nigeria.
Ananyi reflected on the importance of perspective, drawing inspiration from African business leaders like Aliko Dangote and Stanbic IBTC founder Atedo Peterside. “Listening to Dangote at the Afreximbank talk and reading about Peterside’s retirement reminded me of the importance of zooming out from daily challenges and recognizing that we are still in the early stages of a long journey. With 12 years behind us, we have a lot more to achieve.”
Tizeti is embarking on an exciting new venture, combining internet connectivity with clean energy. The company aims to build a first-of-its-kind network, starting in Lagos, with a planned launch on 12/12/2024. This date not only honors Tizeti’s founding in 2012 but also marks its 12-year milestone.
On this anniversary, Ananyi wished everyone great physical and mental health, emphasizing the importance of balancing quality time with family, caring for aging parents, and maintaining healthy work relationships through life’s highs and lows.
