KORRA OBIDI: IS SHE THE RIGHT PERSON TO INFLUENCE OUR GIRLS RIGHT NOW ?

Ten years from now, some Ladies you know will be like Chimamanda ,Okonjo Iweala and Awele Elumelu. Famous, celebrated and renowned. While some others will be like Maheeda, Cossy Orjiakor and Mia kalifa. Dissed , disgraced and disowned. You are young now and your body is tight…we know.

But why are you acting like it’s only the things on your chest and between your legs that can give you relevance.I saw a comment on Awele’s wall….were someone went “it’s her body and she lives in the western world, that how they do there”.

This is some one who hasn’t crossed the pacific. In case you are not aware, the western world is just like every other world… they have the aristocrats, the nobility, and the PLEBEIANS.

You will never come upon an Aristocrat carrying on in a trashy manner, or sharing nudes for clout and fame. That behavior is reserved for the plebeians , the low lives, the trailer park trash- in every society.

Come back to Nigeria…as wild as DJ cuppy seems to be, you will never see her revel in nudity and trashiness-because she is from nobility. She is UPPER CLASS. I can bet she has visited and lived in every continent of the world…but her respect and carriage is as intact as a descendant of the King of England. Show me any upper class Nigerian woman who goes about celebrating her nudes?

NONE.

NEVER.

They are all busy working to get a foot into the corridors of power where the owners of Nigeria belong. In 20 years…everyone that is above 20 right now will be above 40… Do you want to be an example people show their kids to prevent them from ending up a disgrace or do you want to be celebrated as a standard woman worldwide?

Today, Cossy Orjiakor and her likes can not stand up where great women are standing.Heck, she can’t even be invited to the same functions with them. And her famous breasts are no longer young so the lecherous men who made her popular have all moved on.

While the women no one heard about way back then because they were underground working with their brains and their hands are now the movers and shakers, walking in and out of the World bank, and the Oval Office ,meeting with world leaders who pay rapt attention to the words that come out from their lips.

When women like Chimamanda Adichie or Okonjo Iweala stand before men…it’s in the greatest offices of the world…imparting knowledge and making powerful impressions…when women like Cossy Orjiakor are mentioned, it’s all beer parlor talk about body parts and body fluids.

I am not your mother. I am not here to advice you. I just want to remind you that every action you are taking now is leading you to the place you will be in 20 years time.

Don’t end up in a dingy place watching the women you knew as young girls, take over the world stage, while all you can boast of are some really really hot dancing nudes on the internet.

But if that’s where you want to be…Who am I to tell you otherwise ☺️☺️☺️

Welcome to wonderful Thursday!!

Creating a successful cloud readiness roadmap

Top tips for seamless cloud migration

African businesses are feeling the economic pinch, and the picture looks much the same the world over as global growth forecasts slow. One of the ways businesses are winning some financial ground, is by moving to the cloud. In its latest Cloud Business Survey, PwC reports 78% of executives surveyed have adopted cloud in most or all parts of their business.

Dirk Ras, Solutions Architect at Dariel Software, says it’s true that moving to the cloud can result in cost savings, but not without some homework first. “The two primary gains businesses can expect by moving to the cloud are having more flexibility and saving on the costs of on-premises infrastructure and maintenance.” Yet, by some estimates, around 30% of cloud spend is wasted. Ras explains: “Companies who don’t perform an in-depth cost analysis prior to moving to the cloud can easily…
