The intensive training, which drew participants from across the northern region and beyond, focused on equipping fibre technicians, network engineers, and infrastructure specialists with practical knowledge and advanced competencies needed for the deployment and maintenance of fibre-optic networks. The programme emphasized hands-on learning, innovation, and team-based problem-solving—crucial elements needed to expand Nigeria’s broadband penetration and support the nation’s growing digital economy.
Officials of the company explained that the initiative would play a significant role in strengthening Nigeria’s internet backbone, reducing network downtimes, and enhancing connectivity for homes, businesses, educational institutions, and government services.
