AWKA – A political support group backing the senatorial ambition of Amb. Prince Samben Nwosu has described the Anambra South hopeful as a tested, trusted and highly competent leader capable of providing effective representation for the district in the National Assembly.

The endorsement was contained in a statement issued by Ofodeme Kocee, who argued that as political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections gather momentum, Nwosu has continued to distinguish himself as one of the leading contenders for the Anambra South Senatorial seat.

According to the statement, Nwosu’s political experience, grassroots appeal and leadership qualities place him in a strong position to represent the interests of the people of Anambra South at the Senate.

The group maintained that the district requires a senator with the capacity to build bipartisan relationships, influence national policy and attract meaningful development projects to the constituency.

It further stated that Nwosu has consistently demonstrated political courage, strategic thinking and the ability to engage effectively within Nigeria’s complex political landscape while remaining committed to the welfare of his constituents.

The statement also noted that Anambra South deserves a representative who is energetic, intellectually equipped and focused on service rather than personal ambition.

“Prince Samben Nwosu possesses the experience, patriotism and leadership qualities required to provide purposeful representation and ensure that the voices of the people of Anambra South are effectively heard at the National Assembly,” the statement said.

The group called on eligible voters across the seven local government areas of Anambra South Senatorial District to support Nwosu’s aspiration, expressing confidence that he would champion policies and initiatives capable of driving sustainable development across the zone.

Political activities are expected to intensify in Anambra State in the coming months as aspirants continue consultations and stakeholder engagements ahead of the 2027 general elections.
