Lagos Business School, Lekki Free Zone Development Company Explore Strategic Partnership

Lagos Business School (LBS), Pan-Atlantic University, has commenced discussions with Lekki Free Zone Development Company (LFZDC) to strengthen collaboration in leadership development, executive education, and initiatives that support Nigeria’s economic growth.

The strategic engagement, held on July 17, 2026, brought together senior executives from both institutions to explore opportunities for mutually beneficial partnerships.

The Lekki Free Zone Development Company delegation was led by its Chief Executive Officer, Dai Shunfa, and included Chen Zhenguang, Commercial Controller; Akorede Ojomu, Administrative Controller; and Augustine Odey, Head of Human Resources.

The delegation was received by the Dean of Lagos Business School, Professor Olayinka David-West, alongside members of the school’s leadership team, including Jacinta Ifeoma Anakua, Alex Ererobe, Oluwakemi Mfon-Bassey, Tayo Folayan, Oyedayo Otokiti, and Victor Banjo, Executive Education Director at Lagos Business School.

During the meeting, representatives of both organisations explored opportunities to deepen institutional collaboration, with discussions focusing on leadership development, executive education, talent development, and strategic initiatives that can support Nigeria’s investment and business ecosystem.

As part of the visit, the LFZDC delegation toured the Lagos Business School campus, where they were introduced to the institution’s executive education facilities and learning environment. The visitors were also briefed on the school’s mission of developing responsible leaders equipped to drive sustainable growth across Africa and beyond.

The delegation further interacted with participants of Cohort 6 of the Global Chief Executive Officer Africa (GCEO-A) Programme, who are currently undertaking the second module of the executive leadership programme at Lagos Business School. The third module of the programme is scheduled to take place in Shanghai, China, providing participants with international business and leadership exposure.

The visit concluded with both institutions expressing a shared commitment to identifying practical areas of collaboration that will create long-term value for their organisations while contributing to Nigeria’s economic development, investment promotion, and human capital advancement.

The engagement underscores the growing importance of partnerships between academia and industry in strengthening executive leadership, fostering innovation, and supporting sustainable economic transformation in Nigeria.
