Former students of St. Peter’s Seminary (SPS) are eagerly preparing for the highly anticipated reunion of the St. Peter’s Seminary Old Boys Association (SPSOBA), scheduled for Sunday, January 4, 2026. The event promises to be a heartwarming gathering of alumni, combining fellowship, networking, and discussions on ways to give back to society.
Rev. Fr. David Okolie, National P.R.O of SPSOBA, expressed excitement about the upcoming event, stating, “We bring to you what you have been longing for – our hangout and get-together. Every arrangement is ready, and we will be waiting for you at the venue. This is an opportunity to catch up with old friends, reminisce about our time at SPS, and build connections that last a lifetime.”
This year’s reunion is particularly special, as it marks the first gathering organized by the new SPSOBA executive team. “Our new leadership is committed to making this reunion a memorable and well-organized event for everyone. We have planned every detail carefully to ensure that attendees enjoy themselves while also engaging in meaningful conversations about reconnecting, networking, and giving back to the community,” the SPSOBA President said.
He emphasized the broader importance of alumni reunions, noting, “Reunions are more than just social occasions; they are opportunities to strengthen professional and personal networks, celebrate shared memories, and reflect on how we can collectively contribute to society. This gathering will also provide a platform to explore collaborative initiatives, mentorship opportunities, and community development projects.”
