Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has announced the launch of the state’s new Electronic Physical Planning Process System, a digital platform designed to transform land administration and physical planning procedures across the state.

According to the Governor, the introduction of the system marks a major step in modernizing operations as Lagos continues to grow rapidly. He noted that traditional methods are no longer sustainable for a city of Lagos’ scale and complexity.

“The new platform will speed up application processes, enhance transparency, reduce human interference, and provide more reliable data for planning a safer and better-organised Lagos,” Governor Sanwo-Olu said.

To support this transition, planning officers have been equipped with upgraded digital tools, ensuring effective implementation and improved service delivery. The initiative aligns with the administration’s THEMES+ Agenda and reinforces President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope vision for a more efficient, technology-driven public sector.

Governor Sanwo-Olu urged developers, industry professionals, and residents to fully embrace the new system as the state continues to build a more functional, innovative, and inclusive Lagos.
