NDPC Celebrates 2025 International Customer Service Week, Reaffirms Commitment to Excellence in Service Delivery

The Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) joined the global community to commemorate the 2025 International Customer Service Week with a special workshop organised for its staff members.

The event, held at the Commission’s headquarters, featured a keynote address by the National Commissioner and CEO, Dr. Vincent Olatunji, who reiterated that effective service delivery remains at the heart of the Commission’s mandate as a government agency.

Dr. Olatunji commended the dedication of NDPC staff and noted that this year’s theme, “Mission Possible,” reflects the Commission’s resilience and determination to achieve its objectives despite operational challenges. He stressed that providing quality service to stakeholders in both the public and private sectors is vital to strengthening public trust and advancing data protection awareness nationwide.

The NDPC chief encouraged staff to remain well-informed about the Commission’s policies, programs, and initiatives, adding that doing so would not only enhance the institution’s public image but also empower personnel to deliver value-driven results. He further urged them to continue contributing to the Commission’s growth and to take advantage of emerging opportunities within the expanding data protection ecosystem.

Highlights of the celebration included thematic presentations, a quiz competition, and the recognition of outstanding staff and departments for exemplary commitment to customer service excellence.

The event underscored the NDPC’s ongoing commitment to fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, and innovation in public service delivery.
