The Imo State Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma has stated that Imo will continue to be a safe and hospitable place for all law-abiding citizens and guests of the State.
In his address at the inauguration of members of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Batch A stream 1 in Imo State, Governor Uzodimma described Ndi Imo as a peace-loving and accommodating people.
He encouraged the Corps members to be free, treat and respect each other as one irrespective of tribe, culture and religion.
He also charged the corp members to continue to promote unity and peace in Imo State and the nation at large.
It is worthy of note that the youth-loving Governor also approved the payment of monthly stipends and meal subsidies to the corp members.
