Reacting to the honour, Williams described the award as humbling, emphasizing that it reflects collective effort rather than individual achievement. She credited the recognition to the collaboration and shared purpose of colleagues, partners, clients, and professional associates she worked with throughout the year.
Williams also acknowledged the role of mentorship and community in her journey, expressing appreciation to her mentors for their guidance and to her mentees for their inspiration and fresh perspectives. She further highlighted the support of friends and family as a key source of strength and stability.
Reflecting on the year, Williams noted that the challenges and opportunities she encountered helped shape her leadership approach and strengthened her commitment to using technology as a tool for meaningful and sustainable impact.
Looking ahead, she expressed optimism about 2026, outlining aspirations for greater impact, bolder leadership, and deeper service within the technology and business transformation space.
The award adds to Williams’ growing profile as a leading voice in technology leadership, women in tech, and digital transformation across Africa and beyond.
