The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), in partnership with the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM), on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, held a joint Business Forum at the LCCI Commerce House in Lagos, aimed at strengthening economic and trade relations between Nigeria and Kenya.
The forum brought together key stakeholders from both countries’ public and private sectors to deliberate on strategies for enhancing bilateral cooperation, increasing trade volumes, and encouraging cross-border investments. Discussions focused on manufacturing, trade facilitation, and opportunities for collaboration in priority sectors.
As part of activities following the forum, the Kenyan delegation embarked on a series of corporate visits to selected Nigerian companies, including Dufil Foods, Le Look, Jawa, and FAE Envelopes. The visits were aimed at providing insights into Nigeria’s manufacturing landscape and exploring potential areas for partnership and business expansion.
Organizers of the event expressed optimism that the engagement would lead to stronger commercial ties between both countries and foster mutual economic growth through enhanced collaboration between Nigerian and Kenyan businesses.
Participants commended the initiative and reaffirmed their commitment to deepening economic cooperation between Nigeria and Kenya in the spirit of intra-African trade and regional development.
