In line with the LAGOS STATE Government directive for all forms of protest to stop due to the escalation of violence and disruption of economic and social activities due to the #ENDSARS protest going on in the nation, the state lately imposed a curfew to curtail movement of people .
Many celebrities like Falz and Tacha the evicted and exited Big Brother Naija contestant has encouraged Nigerians to be law abiding by staying at home .
Tacha used her verified tweeter handle to tweet her mind ans said “Please Lagos, let’s stay home and be law abiding. They are desperate to have something on us but they will NEVER succeed. This movement is bigger than all of us! ✊🏾 #EndSARS”
Falz, a popular musician with emphasis on rap said also in line with Tacha that “Please Lagos, let’s stay home and be law abiding. They are desperate to have something on us but they will NEVER succeed. This movement is bigger than all of us! ✊🏾 #EndSARS”
The protest has seen millions of people coming out to vent their anger and grievances based on reported or alleged police brutality. This has cost various state government billion in revenues. The government has promised to restructure the police and bring those bad cops ti book. But, the protesters are insisting that they must restructure the whole superstructure which we don’t know the position of government as it stands.
