Oni’s academic journey is marked by an Economics degree from the University of Ibadan and an MBA from Bangor University. Her educational foundation is further enriched by executive training received at the prestigious Oxford University.
Commencing her illustrious career at Prime Merchant Bank Treasury & Money Markets Group, Oni spent 11 impactful years at Ecobank Nigeria, where she excelled as a Relationship Manager. In 2005, she joined Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria, where she navigated through various key positions, ultimately reaching the pinnacle as the Managing Director & Country Head of Commercial Banking in West Africa.
Prior to assuming her role at Union Bank, Oni made history as the first female Managing Director and CEO at Standard Chartered Bank in Sierra Leone, a testament to her trailblazing career.
