In an astounding display of intellect and prowess, Nasara James Dabo, a 13-year-old prodigy hailing from Nigeria, has emerged as a remarkable talent with an IQ ranking in the top 1% worldwide. Nasara, a student at Ideal College International in Kaduna, recently garnered international acclaim at the prestigious International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) and beyond.
At the International Mathematical Olympiad, Nasara’s remarkable achievement became evident as she flawlessly solved 34 math problems in an astonishing 172 seconds, averaging an impressive 5 seconds per question. Her stellar performance secured her a gold medal in the junior category, outshining 150 competitors globally. With a total score of 145, Nasara not only claimed the gold but also earned the coveted Olympiad champion title.
Following her triumph at the IMO, Nasara undertook the Mensa IQ test under strict supervision, achieving an outstanding score of 150, placing her among the top 1% globally among Mensa applicants.
In addition to her mathematical prowess, Nasara recently clinched a LIMCA Award for her exceptional memory skills, memorizing an impressive 673 binary numbers in less than 9 minutes at the Memory Championship organized by Mind Sports Olympiad.
Nasara’s achievements have not gone unnoticed, and she has been offered a scholarship by the Kaduna State government, recognizing her outstanding contributions and providing support for her secondary and university education expenses.
