The Director General, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa CCIE, has been commended for his commitment towards gender equality and women empowerment within the Nigeria’s Tech ecosystem
The recognition of the selected institutions and personalities formed part of activities climaxing the International Women’s Day Celebration tagged, 2023 National Women Conference with the theme, “Inclusive Technology and Digital Education for Gender Equality and Women Empowerment”.
The Minister of Women Affairs, Mrs Paulen Tallen, described DG-NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa’s unprecedented achievements in the area of advancing rights of Women through various interventions as commendable.
Inuwa represented by Agency’s Acting Director, Digital Literacy and Capacity Building, Dr Amina Sambo Magaji whose indelible mark was also commended, being the First Northern Woman to obtain First Class and Masters degrees in Computer Science and PhD in Artificial Intelligence.
