Enugu, Nigeria – Lebara Nigeria has reiterated its commitment to expanding digital connectivity and supporting inclusive economic development through strategic partnerships with subnational governments across the country.
The commitment was made during a courtesy visit by a delegation from Lebara Nigeria to the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Peter Mbah, where discussions focused on strengthening collaboration in telecommunications, digital infrastructure, and innovation-driven economic growth.
The delegation was led by the Chief Executive Officer of Lebara Nigeria, Teni Stuffman, who emphasised the company’s long-term vision of building resilient institutions that support telecoms expansion, financial inclusion, and digital infrastructure development across Africa.
Lebara Nigeria described the engagement as part of its broader strategy to deepen partnerships with state governments to improve access to reliable telecommunications services, enhance connectivity, and create enabling environments for innovation and enterprise.
The company noted that Enugu State has emerged as one of Nigeria’s leading subnational governments in digital transformation, citing its growing adoption of technology-driven governance systems, smart infrastructure initiatives, and investor-friendly policies under the
administration of Governor Mbah.
During the engagement, both parties reportedly discussed shared priorities around job creation, expanded digital access, and the role of telecommunications infrastructure in accelerating economic development at the state level.
Lebara Nigeria expressed appreciation for the reception accorded to its delegation, commending the state government’s commitment to leveraging technology as a catalyst for improved service delivery and economic transformation.
The company further stated its readiness to explore collaborative projects that would support Enugu State’s digital ambitions while contributing to Nigeria’s broader goal of strengthening its digital economy and improving nationwide connectivity.
