This is to alert the general public on a recent false allegation against the troops of Operation LAFIA DOLE in the North East region of the Country. The allegation that troops are involved in illicit farming and fishing activities in Baga town is absolutely false, thus a campaign of calumny. It is baseless and unfounded and therefore should be discountenanced. The Nigerian Army urges citizens to always verify such allegations before forming opinions on sensitive subject of this magnitude bearing mind that such claims have implications on national security.

The Russian-Ukraine war and the lingering impact of the COVID-19 pandemic have severely weakened West African economies and currencies – but businesses and investors are looking to dollar assets to mitigate the damage.
As most West African economies are commodity-driven, any development within the global economy that affects the supply and/or demand of commodities imports and exports portends significant currency weakening effects on the economies.

Fiscal and monetary imbalances compound the problem.

I saw the ad for this company’s event and decided to bid to compere the event. I had experience on my side…
