LAGOS — Wynk Limited, a technology company focused on financial technology, regulatory technology (RegTech) and artificial intelligence, has engaged with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on the application of emerging technologies to financial-sector supervision, consumer protection and regulatory compliance.
The engagement took place during a recent visit by the Wynk Limited team to the CBN, where the company presented its work and ideas around the development of technology-driven solutions for the financial sector.
According to Dr. Jerry Igwilo, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Wynk Limited, discussions during the engagement focused on several emerging areas, including AI-enabled complaints management, supervisory intelligence, early-warning analytics, multilingual consumer engagement and responsible artificial intelligence adoption.
The company also explored how digital technologies could be deployed to strengthen regulatory oversight and improve the responsiveness of institutions across Nigeria’s financial system.
Igwilo said Wynk views technology not simply as software but as an enabler of institutional transformation, particularly at the intersection of financial services, data, artificial intelligence and regulatory compliance.
Wynk Limited is developing digital solutions aimed at supporting financial institutions and central-bank supervisory processes, with its work spanning fintech, RegTech, AI and data-driven systems.
The company’s leadership includes Igwilo, described as a serial entrepreneur and investment adviser, alongside professionals working across technology, product development, artificial intelligence, regulatory affairs and financial services.
