In a rapidly evolving digital world, a powerful new alliance is stepping up to ensure Nigerian youths are not left behind. Recognizing the urgent need to build local technical capacity, MyCard Tech Solutions Ltd has partnered with Redeem Christian Church of Good (RCCG)The Faith City to host a groundbreaking youth empowerment initiative titled “NEXTGEN AI: Unlocking the Future.”
The entirely free program is designed to bridge the digital divide, transforming young Nigerians from mere observers of the global tech boom into active leaders and creators.
For the organizers, this initiative is driven by a deep sense of social responsibility. They believe that tomorrow’s global economy belongs to those who understand automation and intelligent systems, making it vital to equip young minds with practical, high-demand skills today.
The highly anticipated event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at RCCG, The Faith City, located at 5 Adeniji Street, off College Road, Ogba.

Designed to be an intensive, hands-on experience, the training goes beyond abstract theory. Organizers have stressed that participants must bring their own laptops to actively engage in the practical sessions. Throughout the afternoon, attendees will dive deep into understanding the core mechanics of artificial intelligence, mastering real-world AI tools, and learning how to strategically position themselves for lucrative international remote work and entrepreneurial opportunities. While admission is completely free and light refreshments will be provided, organizers emphasise that registration is strictly compulsory due to limited seating.
At the heart of this movement is a shared commitment to giving back to the community. The speaker lineup features a dedicated panel of seasoned industry professionals, including Ayodeji Olotu, Adebayo Ibraheem, Olabode Matthew, and Kayode Akinwale, all volunteering their time to mentor the next generation.
Speaking passionately about his motivation for spearheading the event, Kayode Akinwale, the Founder and Product Architect of MyCard Tech Solutions Limited, shared his personal vision for the project. As a respected tech guru who has dedicated his career to innovation, Akinwale views this training as a crucial vehicle for social impact.

“Innovation is not just about building great products; it is about building the people who will shape the future,” Akinwale stated. “My journey in technology has shown me the immense, untapped potential within Nigerian youth. Bringing this AI training to Nigeria is my way of giving back to society. I want to lay bare my years of industry experience, pull back the curtain on advanced technology, and hand these young minds the exact tools they need to dominate the global space. If we do not intentionally build capacity today, we lock our youth out of tomorrow’s economy.”
