Strategy and organisational transformation advisor Kelechi Vera Okeahialam-Olawoyin has announced the successful completion of her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Imperial College London, marking the beginning of a new chapter in her professional journey.
In a statement, Okeahialam-Olawoyin confirmed that the university formally validated the completion of her programme in November, following what she described as a “deeply transformative” academic and leadership experience.
“What a journey it has been — intense, exhilarating, and deeply transformative,” she said. “Being surrounded by such a diverse, brilliant, and driven cohort pushed me to think bigger, act bolder, and stay curious.”
She highlighted the impact of the Imperial ecosystem, particularly the Imperial Enterprise Lab, which she described as a hub for entrepreneurship and innovation.
“The support, programmes, and intentionality around innovation helped crystallise something I’ve always known about myself: I thrive when turning bold ideas into real-world impact,” she noted.
Following the completion of her MBA, Okeahialam-Olawoyin announced the launch of Le Sagace Consulting Services, a strategy and transformation firm focused on organisational design, people management, and sustainability.
“I am excited to announce the launch of Le Sagace Consulting Services,” she said.
“This venture is born from my lifelong purpose: to help organisations build for good and build to last.”
She also expressed gratitude to her personal and professional support network, acknowledging family, friends, mentors, and colleagues.
“I am grateful for my family, friends, mentors, and colleagues who consistently believe in me even more than I believe in myself,” she stated.
Referencing a poem by French poet Guillaume Apollinaire titled Come to the Edge, Okeahialam-Olawoyin described this moment as one defined by courage and faith.
“Today, I find myself at that very edge. I am choosing to leap and to fly — with faith in God, vision, and a mission to create value that endures,” she said.
She concluded with a message of optimism and ambition:
“Here’s to new beginnings, courageous ideas, and building a future that matters.”
Industry observers say her transition from corporate leadership into entrepreneurship reflects a growing trend among African professionals leveraging global education to create African-led consulting enterprises focused on sustainable impact.
