Transnational Corporation Plc (Transcorp Group) has reported robust financial results for the third quarter of 2025, underscoring the success of its diversified business model and its commitment to profit with purpose.
In a statement shared by Tony O. Elumelu, C.F.R, Chairman of Heirs Holdings and Transcorp Group, the company recorded a 39% year-on-year revenue increase to ₦413.4 billion, while Profit Before Tax (PBT) rose by 18% to ₦124.5 billion. Elumelu attributed the performance to focus, resilience, and purpose-driven leadership — the defining pillars of the Group’s strategy.
“At Heirs Holdings, profit and purpose are not mutually exclusive,” Elumelu said. “Transcorp Group demonstrates that philosophy — Africapitalism in action.”
The Group’s strong performance was driven by continued growth across its power, hospitality, and energy sectors. In the power segment, Transcorp continues to expand generation capacity, supporting Nigeria’s national grid and advancing energy access. Meanwhile, Transcorp Hotels Plc and the newly launched Transcorp Centre Abuja are redefining hospitality standards and positioning Nigeria as a competitive business and leisure destination.
Beyond financial performance, Elumelu emphasized Transcorp’s broader mission of nation-building through enterprise. “At Transcorp Group, we are not just building businesses; we are powering homes, creating jobs, and driving national development,” he stated.
He reaffirmed the company’s long-term commitment to improving lives and transforming Africa through sustainable business practices and strategic investments, consistent with the Heirs Holdings philosophy of Africapitalism — the belief that Africa’s private sector must play a leading role in driving social and economic transformation.
