Benue Deputy Governor Seeks NITDA’s Support for Digital Transformation

In a strategic move to advance digital development in Benue State, Deputy Governor Samuel Ode has met with the Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, to discuss potential collaboration on digital initiatives.

The discussions centered on leveraging technology to modernize the state’s infrastructure, equip its youth with essential digital skills, and create sustainable, tech-driven solutions to drive economic growth. Recognizing the role of digital transformation in governance and economic development, Ode emphasized the need for partnerships that would enhance innovation and position Benue as a key player in Nigeria’s digital economy.

In response, the NITDA DG reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to supporting the state’s digital agenda.
