In a shocking turn of events, Hilda Baci and her friend Eniola have sparked controversy after posting a video on Friday morning showing them consuming a dog delicacy. The video quickly gained attention on Twitter, leaving many viewers distressed and choosing to scroll past it.

The outrage and anger sparked by this stunt were immediate, as numerous people found the video highly offensive. The close resemblance of dogs’ behavior to humans, coupled with their status as loyal companions, led many to express their disapproval. Concerns are now rising about the potential repercussions this incident may have on Hilda Baci’s brand.

It is possible that this dog-eating video could harm her reputation and impact future opportunities. Foreign embassies may refuse her a visa, and she may encounter difficulties in securing positions with foreign food companies. Animal cruelty is a significant concern globally, and making light of such issues can have severe consequences.

In the past, football player Zouma from West Ham made headlines for kicking his cat. The public outrage that followed was extraordinary, with fans even calling for his expulsion from the club. Considering this response, one can only imagine the backlash Hilda Baci may face for killing and eating a dog in front of a camera.

Previously, I had emphasized the importance of Hilda having a competent management company to handle her career once her cooking fame subsides. Unfortunately, it appears that she did not heed this advice. While her unconventional approach to gaining attention may have been innovative, effectively managing her newfound fame and leveraging it for her benefit requires the guidance of a skilled brand manager.

The dog-eating video is not only distasteful but also an expensive stunt that leaves a repulsive impression on viewers. Moving forward, it is crucial for Hilda Baci to make better decisions and actions that align with public sentiment.

The consequences of her actions could extend far beyond public perception, affecting her future prospects and professional opportunities. It is hoped that she learns from this experience and takes steps to rectify the damage caused.

Shanty Town Movie is a testament that the Nigerian movie industry is the biggest coming out of Africa and also has cemented Nollywood (pet name for local movie industry ) as one of the top 5 movie industries globally. Shanty Town movie came out depicting the slum of Nigeria, telling the story of cartels running prostitution, drug and extortionist rackets in some of the biggest slums in the country.

Speaking during an interview with Yaw, an online personality with WAZOBIA FM a local radio station in Lagos. Produced by Uche Jombo the Associate producer,Chichi Nworah the  Executive producer and Charles Okonkwo ,Executive producer. During the media  interview, Chi said that “ We have been in this movie since 2019, it was written in 2019, while Covid 19 paused it and we commenced shooting after the pandemic. “

“The movie is showing in over hundred  countries of the world and running top in eleven  countries of the world. The government is being aware of the movie industry. Producing the movie is a herculean event, we suffered many challenges “Review of Shanty Town, a Netflix Limited Series:

With the finest acts in the country such as Richard Mofe-Damijo, Ini Edo, Chidi Mokeme, Nse Ekpe-Etim, Shola Shobowale, Shaffy Bello, Ali Nuhu, Uche Jombo, Zubby Michael, Nancy Isime, Ini Edo.Produced by Uche Jombo the Associate producer, Chichi Nworah the Executive producer and Charles Okonkwo ,Executive producer with cameo appearance from Mercy of Big Brother Africa

“Shanty Town is an ode to blood, gore, violence, and very little sex, and it shows that Nollywood is truly pushing the envelope. The production focuses on a theme that we have seen quite a bit. A powerful politician is the real brain behind the drugs and prostitution rings in the slums, but 3 episodes in and I was still struggling to understand what the plot is. The use of suspense and mystery is over flogged, and I almost got bored with the build-up”, Ọmọ́níkẹ̀ẹ́ Adéòtí of NollyRated.

Mr Femi Adesina, Special Adviser of the President, Media and Publicity, Friday in Abuja, stressed the need for national unity, saying Nigeria needs peacemakers who will entrench nationalism and patriotism in the polity, and not spoilers.
Adesina spoke when he received a merit award from the Ambassadors of Voice for Change, a group of Nollywood actors and entertainers, led by Ahmed Bala.

The President’s spokesperson said the Buhari administration would continue to support Nigerians working assiduously to promote peace, harmony and development.

He invoked the words of renowned novelist, Chinua Achebe, in his book ”Arrow of God”, to warn on the consequences of internal conflict and underscore the need for Nigerians to see themselves as one:

”When brothers fight to death a stranger inherits their father’s estate.”
Commending the group on their vision to promote unity in Nigeria, Adesina said the sheer volume of talents and exceptional Nigerians on their network, including those in the entertainment, media, sports, fashion and arts industry, makes them a formidable voice for positive change in the country.

”The Media office of the President will always support you and I wish you the very best in all your endeavours.

”What you are doing for the country makes our work easier. When you hold town hall meetings in different parts of the country, advocating for unity, peace and change, it is easier for me to do the job and I am very glad to identify with this group, which is nationalistic and patriotic,” he said.

The spokesman of the group, Ben Kure, said Adesina, a two-time president of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE), has distinguished himself as an excellent journalist, writer, media executive and spokesperson of the President, writing his ‘‘name in gold’’ in the media profession and discharge of his duties.

”He has been adjudged the best spokesman by journalists in Nigeria and one of the reasons adduced to this feat is his humility and accessibility, he deeply cares about the welfare of journalists in Nigeria,” he said.

Referring to a recent piece authored by Adesina in his weekly article, Kure thanked the president’s spokesperson for making Nigerians understand President Buhari as a good man and one who remembers and rewards the labours of the living and the dead.

”Thank you for quoting the Scripture: ‘Blessed be he of the Lord, who has not left off his kindness to the living and the dead,’ Kure said, noting that Buhari has demonstrated, through his appointments of Margery Okadigbo, Constance Harry Marshall, Justice Adesola Oguntade and Justice Sylvanus Nsofor of blessed memory, that he is a detribalised Nigerian, passionate about the country.

The representatives of the group that came with Bala, the leader, to the State House to present the award are Kure, Gentle Jack, Saheed Balogun, Mr Ibu, Shina Peters and Onyekweli Harry B.
