Abuja, Nigeria – Emerging Nigerian carrier Caliphate Air has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the growth and development of the country’s aviation industry during a courtesy visit to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo.
The Caliphate Air delegation was led by the airline’s Managing Director and Accountable Manager, Captain Abioye Babatunde Abdulkareem, alongside the Director of Operations, Captain Oluwashina Agbelese.
Also part of the delegation were the Secretary to the Sokoto State Government, Mohammad Bello Sifawa, and the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Haliru Dikko.
According to the airline, the meeting focused on strengthening collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development and reaffirming Caliphate Air’s commitment to contributing to the advancement of Nigeria’s aviation sector.
The engagement comes as the airline continues preparations for its official launch, with discussions centred on fostering partnerships that will support sustainable growth, operational excellence, and improved air connectivity within Nigeria.
The visit highlights ongoing collaboration between government and private sector stakeholders aimed at expanding the country’s aviation ecosystem and supporting the Federal Government’s drive to strengthen the industry through investment, innovation, and strategic partnerships.
