The race for a spot at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPC Ltd.) officially kicked off today as 45,689 hopefuls sat for the Computer-Based Aptitude Test, held at multiple centers across the country. In a demonstration of his hands-on leadership, NNPC’s Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO), Mr. Mele Kyari, visited the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society Centenary Resource Centre in Maitama, Abuja, one of the key test centers. His presence was aimed at ensuring the process was conducted transparently, efficiently, and fairly.
Mr. Kyari’s visit also highlighted the organization’s dedication to inclusion. Twenty-four-year-old Temitope Ajayi, who traveled from Ogun State, shared her aspirations: “NNPC is a dream workplace for me. I’ve prepared for this day for months, and I believe this test is a fair chance to prove myself.”
Another applicant, Ibrahim Umar, a visually impaired graduate from Kano State, expressed gratitude for the corporation’s inclusivity. “It means a lot that NNPC created provisions for people like me. It shows they care about everyone having an equal opportunity,” he said.
