National Hospital Abuja Pays Courtesy Visit to Nigerian Communications Commission

 

 

 

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) today hosted a courtesy visit from key representatives of the National Hospital Abuja. The delegation, which included notable figures such as Dr. Peter Egwakhide, Director of Administration; Prof. Muhammad Raji Mehmud, Chief Medical Director; and Pharm. Clara Adesola, Deputy Director of Pharmacy, was warmly received by the leadership of the NCC.

Ms. Olatokunboh Oyeleye, Head of Digital Economy at NCC, led the Commission’s team, accompanied by Engr. Abraham Oshadami, Executive Commissioner of Technical Services; and Mr. Usman Malah, Director of Corporate Services.

During the visit, both institutions engaged in meaningful discussions aimed at fostering collaboration and leveraging digital technologies to enhance healthcare services. Ms. Oyeleye emphasized the importance of integrating digital solutions within the healthcare sector to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.

Prof. Mehmud expressed his appreciation for the NCC’s support and highlighted the potential benefits of a strengthened partnership between the healthcare and telecommunications sectors. The dialogue underscored the commitment of both organizations to advancing Nigeria’s digital economy and improving public health infrastructure.
