Airtel Africa has been distinguished as the Most Outstanding in Financial Reporting at the inaugural ICAN-NGX Awards held in Nigeria. The company also claimed the overall gold prize across all categories and received several other nominations, underscoring its excellence in financial and sustainability reporting as well as corporate governance.

The ICAN-NGX Awards were organized by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in collaboration with NGX Regulation Limited (NGX RegCo). These awards celebrate excellence in corporate reporting among the top 30 most capitalized companies listed on The Nigerian Stock Exchange during the 2022 financial year.
