Dr. Nwosu’s distinguished career includes previous positions as provost and senior vice president for academic affairs at the City University of New York’s Herbert H. Lehman College. He has also held similar roles at Clark Atlanta University and California State University, Fullerton, demonstrating a robust commitment to academic excellence and institutional leadership.
With a Ph.D. in communication studies from Howard University, Dr. Nwosu is a prolific scholar, having authored over 100 academic works throughout his career. His extensive experience and dedication to education are expected to guide SUNY towards greater innovation and inclusivity.
