{"id":8515,"date":"2022-09-10T11:22:02","date_gmt":"2022-09-10T11:22:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/techandbiz.com.ng\/tab-backup\/?p=8515"},"modified":"2022-09-10T11:22:27","modified_gmt":"2022-09-10T11:22:27","slug":"enugu-state-ministry-of-budget-and-planning-collaborates-with-unicef-on-nutrition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/techandbiz.com.ng\/tab-backup\/2022\/09\/10\/enugu-state-ministry-of-budget-and-planning-collaborates-with-unicef-on-nutrition\/","title":{"rendered":"Enugu State Ministry of Budget and Planning collaborates with UNICEF on Nutrition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this week, the Enugu State Ministry of Budget and Planning, in collaboration with UNICEF, held a meeting with nutrition stakeholders including; government officials, policymakers and development partners.<\/p>\n<p>The UNICEF-supported platform emphasized the importance of nutrition and the need for the government\u2019s commitment towards the implementation of the &#8216;State Multisectoral Plan on Nutrition&#8217; that is in line with the implementation of the National Policy on Nutrition.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Juliet Chiluwe, Chief of UNICEF Field Office in Enugu, took advantage of the occasion to raise awareness about Enugu State&#8217;s 15% stunting rate, which results in approximately 147,816 children being shorter than expected for their age, with associated poor cognitive functions.
