At Ibadan, I asked goggle the best local amala joint? Inastraits came up top on a ranking. My wife was born in Ibadan and she attended University of Ibadan like her father who smartly went to University of Nigeria first ( I didn&#8217;t say that)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Back to the food. I Navigated with Google and ended up at a street not far from the cultural center, wrong place. I had my worries, if Google cannot locate the top restaurant how can I trust the ranking? I tried a local trick. Asked the next person standing by the road side &#8221; where is pronounced E..na straits? &#8221; he was confused for a moment. My worries grew\u2026.then he said &#8221; ooo E..no straits&#8221; I nodded vigorously noting my Igbo pronunciation of the word. We made a detour and got to the Cultural center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-rounded\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/techandbiz.com.ng\/tab-backup\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/tmp-cam-255368262-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1225\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>My fears vanished as I saw the well laid out soups and hot amala. The meat stew looked like an Indian massala and the fish was inviting. I quickly ordered. The amala was great as google reviews attested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I so enjoyed the food that I paid for all the people eating while I was there. One of the young men came to me and said &#8220;My Minister&#8221;\u2026.i was surprised that he could recognize me at an Ibadan bukka. The owner was pleasant and service was great.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My greatest shock\u2026and my wife will like this\u2026.they had dental floss at the Amala joint!!!. Ibadan got one over other cities, I will tell Emily Restaurant in Enugu to up the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I scored Inastraits\u2026called Inostraits\u20268\/10. Highly recommended.
