Chinwe Okoli has been reappointed as Special Adviser to the Anambra State Government on Innovation and Business Incubation, as well as Chief Executive Officer of the Solution Innovation District (SID), marking the beginning of a new phase in the state’s innovation agenda.
Her reappointment was confirmed following her recent swearing-in ceremony, where she expressed appreciation to the Governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma Charles Soludo, for renewing his confidence in her leadership and vision.
Speaking after taking the oath of office, Okoli described the development as a continuation of efforts already underway to strengthen the state’s innovation ecosystem. She noted that previous years in office were focused on building foundational systems, developing frameworks, and establishing structures to support entrepreneurship and technology-driven growth.
According to her, the next phase of her mandate will prioritize scaling existing initiatives, improving execution, and ensuring long-term sustainability of innovation programs across the state. She emphasized that the goal is to position Anambra as a leading destination in Africa for building and scaling innovation-driven enterprises.
Okoli also highlighted plans to deepen collaboration across public and private sectors, strengthen policy direction, and expand access to opportunities for youth and women within the entrepreneurial space.
She reaffirmed her commitment to advancing the state’s innovation ecosystem and called for continued support and partnerships from stakeholders to achieve the administration’s broader economic and development objectives.
