Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited has reinforced its role in Nigeria’s national security framework following a high-level meeting between its leadership and the Federal Ministry of Defence.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Jane Egerton-Idehen, led a delegation on a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Defence, Christopher Gwabin Musa.
According to officials, discussions during the meeting focused on national sovereignty and the strategic importance of leveraging indigenous technology to enhance secure communications. Both parties highlighted the growing need for reliable, homegrown infrastructure to support Nigeria’s defence operations.
