Transcorp Hotels Plc has reported impressive financial growth at its Annual General Meeting, chaired for the first time by Dr. Awele Elumelu, O.F.R., the company’s first female Chair. The hospitality giant posted a 38 percent revenue increase, rising from ₦70 billion to ₦97 billion, alongside a 45 percent rise in profit before tax from ₦22.6 billion to ₦32.8 billion. Dividend payout also surged by 76 percent year-on-year, reaching ₦1:30, underscoring the company’s commitment to sustained shareholder value.
Dr. Elumelu praised the performance of the management team, led by MD/CEO Uzoamaka Oshogwe, attributing the results to disciplined execution, strategic clarity, and operational excellence.
