The Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr. โBosun Tijani, has launched the first-ever Bosun Tijani Foundation Festive Basketball Tournament in Abeokuta, Ogun State, bringing together young talents from across Nigeria in a celebration of sport, community, and youth empowerment.
The three-day event, held during the festive season, saw teams compete in an atmosphere that blended competition with camaraderie. Families, friends, and supporters gathered to cheer, creating what Tijani described as โa collective spirit of togetherness.โ
โSport builds community and creates pathways for hope and self-expression,โ the Minister said, reflecting on the tournamentโs impact.
