The recently concluded YBG 3.0 “Thy Kingdom Come” initiative and the launch of the YBG Kingdom Business Summit (KBS) have surpassed expectations, providing significant support to kingdom-minded entrepreneurs across Nigeria.
Organized by Jeremy Dan-Okayi, Head of Strategy at Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) and founder of the Faith & Career Series (FCS), the summit aimed to bridge faith and career while promoting sustainable business development. During the event, 23 entrepreneurs were awarded a total of ₦8,250,000, combining catalytic capital with mentorship, investor access, and media exposure to help scale their ventures.
Speaking on the initiative, Dan-Okayi emphasized the importance of mobilizing systems and resources for community impact. “This initiative translates our belief that young leaders who steward their businesses with purpose can drive meaningful transformation in their communities,” he said.
The event brought together sponsors, partners, judges, and volunteers whose contributions made the summit possible. Key contributors included Pastor Seun Osigbesan, Dr. Joy Smart, Stephanie Oguego, Tony Okpanachi, Dr. Ijeoma Ozulumba, Doris Uche Marylene Ogbonnaya, and Idris Salihu.
Dan-Okayi also encouraged continued support for the winners, inviting interested parties to participate in follow-on mentorship and investor introductions to further strengthen the impact of kingdom-focused entrepreneurship.
