SKLD, a leading player in the manufacturing, trading, education, and technology sectors, has officially marked a major leadership transition as long-serving executive Tayo Osiyemi stepped into the role of Chief Executive Officer. The announcement was made during the company’s 25th-anniversary celebration, an event characterized by tributes, music, and emotional reflections from staff, partners, and stakeholders.
Osiyemi, who has spent 12 years working closely with SKLD’s Founder and outgoing CEO, Mrs. Temilola Adepetun, described the moment as both “emotional” and “significant,” noting that the transition represents a symbolic passing of the torch. He credited Adepetun with mentoring and preparing him for leadership throughout his tenure.

The new CEO expressed gratitude to the company’s Board of Directors, including Board Chairman Olusegun Olukoya, SKLD’s investors Alitheia IDF, colleagues, clients, and business partners. He also acknowledged the support of his wife, Agnes Osiyemi, and extended special appreciation to Adepetun for her belief in him from the onset of his journey with SKLD.
As he assumes the company’s top leadership position, Osiyemi said he is committed to steering SKLD into its next phase of growth, envisioning “boundless opportunities” and aiming to build SKLD into a truly global organization.
