Kano, Nigeria – [Date] – Last Wednesday, Kano played host to the Innovation Support Network (ISN) Hubs Annual General Meeting (AGM), a landmark event that brought together representatives from over 230 member hubs across Nigeria. The gathering highlighted the strength, diversity, and nationwide reach of the country’s innovation ecosystem.
A key moment of the AGM was the election of a new Board of Directors, marking a change of leadership to guide ISN into its next chapter. Congratulations were extended to the incoming leadership, alongside heartfelt appreciation for all those who have contributed to building the network to its current stature.

The event featured insightful presentations from strategic partners. Inga Stefanowicz, representing the Delegation of the European Union to Nigeria and ECOWAS, and Daniel Ritter from GIZ Nigeria & ECOWAS Digital Transformation Centre (DTC) Nigeria, reaffirmed their commitment to supporting innovation, digital transformation, and capacity-building initiatives across Nigeria.
Special recognition was given to the Kano State Government and the Kano State Information Technology Development Agency (KASITDA), led by DG Bashir Abdu Muzakkari, Ph.D., MCPN, CNSS, for their sponsorship, hospitality, and exceptional support. Their partnership underscores the growing alignment between state-level innovation strategies and the work of ISN hubs nationwide.
The AGM reinforced the message that ISN is more than a network; it is a coordinated engine of transformation, powered by collaboration, shared purpose, and the dedication of its members.
