Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma has reiterated his administration’s commitment to the prudent management of public resources and the delivery of projects that improve the lives of residents across the state.
Speaking on Sunday after the Holy Eucharistic Mass at the Government House Chapel, Owerri, held to mark the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, the governor said his government remains focused on ensuring that “ndi Imo receive true value for their money.”
Governor Uzodimma noted that the message of the celebration served as a reminder that citizens, as “children of the King,” should not settle for less. He added that this principle guides the state government’s approach to governance and development.
According to him, the administration is sustaining growth across critical sectors—including road infrastructure, health, education, and other essential public services—while strategically positioning the Imo economy for global relevance.
The governor also highlighted upcoming events aimed at driving intellectual and economic advancement in the state, including the Ahiajoku Lecture and the Imo Economic Summit scheduled to hold in the coming days. He called on all Imo citizens, both at home and in the diaspora, to participate in the programmes, describing them as significant milestones for the state.
