The company has officially replaced its former 640g container with a new 650g size to align with international market standards and ensure better clarity for consumers.
Speaking on the update, Goodluck, CEO of Goodbite Foods, stated that the change was necessary to meet global packaging expectations. According to him, consumers in international markets are more familiar with a 650g measurement compared to 640g, making the new weight easier to understand and standardize. He added that the improvement also supports accurate weight calculations across the supply chain. However, with rising production costs, the price of the 650g container is slightly higher than the previous size. He reassured customers that the popular 250g pouch pack remains available, now enhanced with improved packaging. The CEO apologized for any confusion the change may have caused.
Goodbite Foods also emphasized that all its products are issued with a GS1 Nigeria Barcode License, urging customers to scan for necessary information before making a purchase. The company reaffirmed that all its products remain NAFDAC-approved, ensuring safety and compliance.
