Faith Cathedral Men’s Convention Concludes: Call to Be “A Man After God’s Own Heart” Resounds

The Faith Cathedral International Ministry successfully wrapped up its two-day Men Convention 2025 today, Sunday, November 16th, with a powerful call to spiritual leadership and purpose.

The convention, held at the Church Auditorium on 9, Aderenle Street, Egbeda, Lagos, focused on the theme: “A Man After God’s Own Heart,” drawn from the scriptural mandate found in Acts 13:22 and 1 Samuel 13:14.

The gathering was steered by the Ministry’s leadership, Pst Fred Obetoh (General Overseer) and Mr Alaribe Uchemadu (Men President), who emphasized the importance of integrity and obedience in modern manhood.

Drawing on the ministry’s focus on spiritual wisdom and responsibility, Pst. Obetoh reportedly challenged attendees on the need for genuine submission, declaring:

“The essence of being a man after God’s own heart is not perfection, but brokenness and obedience. David was a man who failed, but he always returned to a place of complete submission. We must be men who know how to obey God’s instructions.”

Complementing this message, Men President Mr. Uchemadu’s charge focused on practical action and legacy:

“This convention is more than just a gathering; it is a divine mandate. The world is waiting for men who will stop making excuses and start fulfilling their covenant purpose. A man after God’s own heart understands that the legacy he leaves is not the size of his bank account, but the integrity of his character.”

The highly anticipated annual event kicked off on Saturday, November 15th, at 10 AM prompt, with Sunday’s final session commencing at 9 AM prompt.

The venue was reportedly filled with men from various walks of life, dedicated to gleaning wisdom on how to excel in their family, business, and spiritual roles.
