President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has celebrated his son, Seyi Tinubu, on the occasion of his 40th birthday, describing him as a man of focus, courage, and humility who has remained dedicated to building and uplifting others.
In a heartfelt message issued from the Presidential Villa, Tinubu expressed gratitude to God for Seyi’s life and accomplishments, commending his son’s contributions to business, philanthropy, and youth empowerment.
“As you turn forty, I thank Almighty God for your life and the man you have become,” the President said. “You have walked your path with focus, courage, and humility — guided by a heart that seeks to build, serve, and uplift others.”
Tinubu noted that from an early age, Seyi had demonstrated determination and a strong desire to create and lead, traits that have defined his journey in both business and service.
“I have watched you turn ideas into institutions and challenges into opportunities,” Tinubu stated. “Through your ventures in business — from Loatsad to your various initiatives — you have shown that true success is not measured by wealth or power, but by the impact we make and the lives we touch.”
Reflecting on the significance of the milestone age, Tinubu said turning forty marked “a bridge between youthful drive and the deeper wisdom that life brings.” He praised Seyi for carrying the Tinubu name with honour and for remaining faithful to the family’s values of discipline, integrity, and hard work.
The President also lauded Seyi’s philanthropic efforts through the Noella Foundation, which he said had brought hope to families across Nigeria and created opportunities for young people.
“Your commitment to philanthropy — in education, social development, youth empowerment, and maternal and child welfare — reflects the values I hold dear,” the President said.
Tinubu commended his son’s devotion as a husband and father, noting that the entire family was proud of the life he has built with his wife, Layal.
“As you celebrate this milestone, remember that your strength lies not only in what you achieve but in how you inspire others to believe,” he added. “May God bless you with wisdom, good health, and peace.”
