For over two decades, Tubosun Emmanuel Arajulu has quietly shaped how Africa trades, farms, and sustains its natural wealth. This year, his quiet excellence earned national spotlight as he received the Nigeria @ 65: Leaders of Distinction Award — a recognition celebrating Nigerians whose vision, innovation, and integrity continue to move the nation forward.
Curated by Accolade Communications, the honour forms part of a commemorative compendium marking Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary. It highlights men and women who may not always seek attention, yet whose work drives economic growth, institutional reform, and sustainable progress.
For Arajulu, the award is not just an accolade — it is a reflection of a lifelong mission: to make trade ethical, agriculture sustainable, and supply chains more inclusive.
As National Manager at Agroforce Commodities S.A., he leads vast agricultural operations defined by sustainability, traceability, and accountability. Under his guidance, Agroforce has built a reputation for responsible sourcing and environmentally compliant trade practices that strengthen local economies while meeting global standards.
His journey spans leadership roles at Petroforce Trading & Shipping S.A., Continaf Nigeria Ltd, and the global agricultural giant ECOM Agro-Industrial Corporation (Yara Commodities Ltd), where he rose through the ranks to become Deputy General Manager. There, he managed multimillion-dollar financial operations, designed sustainability programs, and partnered with organizations like the Rainforest Alliance and IDH Sustainable Trade to promote ethical commerce.
Before all this, Arajulu began his professional path at Procter & Gamble, where his knack for precision and integrity earned him the Stewardship Award and Unsung Hero Award. Those early lessons in discipline and leadership would become the foundation of a career built on purpose and excellence.
Beyond corporate corridors, he is known for his work in systems automation, ERP transformation, and financial governance reforms — initiatives that have saved multinational firms millions and improved transparency across supply chains.
Reacting to the honour, Arajulu called it “a call to deeper national service,” stressing that Nigeria’s greatest asset lies not in oil or minerals, but in its people — in their creativity, discipline, and drive to build institutions that last.
“Our future,” he said, “depends on sustainable systems, accountable leadership, and the empowerment of local supply chains to compete globally.”

Arajulu holds an Executive MBA in Financial Management, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration, a B.Sc. in Economics, and an ND in Computer Science. A proud member of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria, the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Nigeria, and the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria, he also supports rural healthcare initiatives through the Rehoboth Rural Health Awareness Foundation.
As Nigeria marks 65 years of independence, Arajulu’s story stands as a reminder that true leadership is not about visibility — it’s about impact.
