Samsung to Celebrate Obi Cubana with Exclusive Galaxy S25 Launch at Abuja Event

The occasion will also serve as the official launch of Samsung’s latest premium smartphone, the Galaxy S25, alongside the A26, A36, and A56 models.

The event, tagged “A Moment Made for Greatness,” is scheduled to hold this Thursday at an exclusive High Networth Individuals (HNI) launch in Abuja. Samsung, in a post on its official Facebook page, described Obi Cubana as a man whose “legacy is as sharp as our innovation,” reinforcing his role as the brand’s icon.

In a move to deepen connectivity and accessibility, Samsung revealed that its new Galaxy S25 now supports seamless navigation in Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo. This feature ensures that users, including elderly individuals, can interact with their devices effortlessly in their preferred language.

“With the Galaxy S25, Grandma can now navigate her phone effortlessly in Yoruba, staying connected with her favourite granddaughter, because language should never be a barrier,” Samsung stated.

Prospective buyers can set up their new Galaxy S25, A26, A36, or A56 in any of the three major Nigerian languages, enhancing user experience for “Ibile, Nwa afo, or Dan kasa.”

As part of the celebration, Samsung announced a special “50 for 50” surprise, where the first 50 guests at the Abuja launch will receive limited-edition Galaxy S25 units.

The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) and Caverton Helicopters have commenced the second batch of training for 10 selected female engineers and scientists from NASENI system-wide in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) technology.
