The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC), Engr. Jennifer Adighije, joined other industry leaders, policymakers, and global investors at the Nigeria International Energy Summit (NIES) 2025, which commenced today at the Abuja Intercontinental Hotel.
The annual summit, recognized as West Africa’s premier energy conference, brings together top stakeholders in the energy sector to explore emerging trends, investment opportunities, and policy reforms shaping the future of Africa’s energy landscape.

She highlighted NDPHC’s Eligible Customer Drive, an initiative designed to directly supply power to industries, eliminating inefficiencies in power distribution and fostering industrial growth. “Nigeria has one of the largest energy markets in Africa, and unlocking its full potential requires innovative solutions like our Eligible Customer initiative. By bypassing traditional distribution bottlenecks, we ensure that industries receive uninterrupted power supply, which is critical for driving economic expansion,” she stated.
Engr. Adighije also emphasized NDPHC’s strategic investment opportunities, reaffirming the company’s commitment to energy infrastructure development and its role in advancing Nigeria’s economic growth in alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
