Minister Badaru Advocates Support for Nigerian Military at 45th Kano International Trade Fair

The Honourable Minister of Defence, H.E. Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, CON, mni, has called for stronger support for the Nigerian Military in its fight against insecurity, emphasizing the pivotal role of peace in fostering national development.

Speaking at the opening of the 45th International Trade Fair in Kano, organized by the Kano Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (KACCIMA), Minister Badaru highlighted the link between security and economic prosperity. He reiterated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to ensuring peace and stability across Nigeria, urging citizens to back these efforts with prayers and confidence in the security forces.

The Minister, a former National President and now Lifetime National Vice President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA), reaffirmed his dedication to Nigeria’s economic advancement. His presence underscored his deep ties to the business community and his ongoing commitment to promoting trade and industry in the region.

The event drew high-profile dignitaries, including representatives from the Office of the Vice President, the Governor of Kano State, and leading business executives from Nigeria and beyond.
