Nigeria, Gambia Sign MoU to Promote Collaboration in Digital Economy

 

The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim (Pantami) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Republic of Gambia, represented by its, Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Mr Ousman Bah.

The MoU signed at the Communications and Digital Economy Complex, Abuja, Nigeria aims to encourage, promote and facilitate cooperation and collaboration between the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Republic of Gambia in the areas of Broadband Development, Spectrum Management, Research, and Development; Capacity Building, Internet Safety, Cyber security, Internet Governance, Infrastructure, Legal Frameworks, and Government Digital Services in accordance with the relevant laws of each Country.
