Fred Obetoh the General Overseer of Faith Cathedral International Ministry, Egbeda, Lagos was recently honoured for his steadfast, commitment and preaching the true gospel by the Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists (NACJ). The Outstanding Integrity Minister Of God Of The Year Award” was presented to the General Overseer in the church.
In a world that Christianity has been so diluted with lots of charlatans and people that are not called by God parading themselves as pastors. Daddy Fred as he is fondly called by members and people has distinguished himself in the calling. Focusing to preach the undiluted gospel and bringing hope to the people.
A man being used as a vessel by God, he has demonstrated humility as it is one of the key attributes that God requires from his people. Simplicity and approachability is he watchword, no wonder the award didn’t come as a surprise to his admirers.
Show me a man who is deligent in his works, he would feed in front of princes and princesses, that is a mandate. Pastor Fred has shown deligency! Always helping, interceding and interventing in the lives of people either spiritually, materially or even financially.

“This award presented to me, I feel so surprised and humbled that I am remembered. I am not in this work to receive award, I believe that my award is in heaven, I also believe that God has used the association, Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists (NACJ) to honour me in front of men. I never lobbied or asked for this award, I am focused on bringing the word of God to people , now that we are in such a world that is utterly materialistic and less focused on godliness. I thank the NACJ for this. I dedicate this to God and the church. May God bless them all” Pastor Fred Obetoh said.

Faith Cathedral International Ministry has been In existence of twenty years from a humble beginnings in an obscure part of Anifowoshe in Ikeja all the way to Ajayi Farm not it’s Headquarters is at Egbeda with branches across the globe.
