Faith Cathedral International Ministry (FCIM) a Christian organization that is focused in bringing souls to God recently celebrated the birthday of its founder Pastor Fred.O. Obetoh. In line with the Covid 19 protocols, the church rolled out carpet to give to whom honor is due.

Just as the bible commanded Christians to do, in the Proverbs 9:11 “For by me your days will be multiplied, and years will be added to your life.”

Pastor Fred as he is fondly called ecstatic and happy with the members of the church. In his word, he said “I am very pleased that the Lord has made me to see this day. It is neither by my power of might that I am seeing this day, I give all the glory for preserving me to this day. The goodness of God can’t be underestimated in my life and that of every other person here. I am very grateful to God for this and I will keep praising him.

In line with Jeremiah 29:11, the verse said “I know the plans I have in mind for you, declares the Lord; they are plans for peace, not disaster, to give you a future filled with hope.” The church used the opportunity to thank the Lord for using the Senior Pastor as a vessel in the Lord.

Over these years, the church under the guidance of Pastor Fred O. Obetoh and a host of other pastors have brought the gospel of the Lord to many. For more than two decades, the church has built a reputation of a family-oriented church where members can get delivered from the shackles of the enemy. With strong faith in God, the church has recorded successes which have been manifested in form of testimonies – all to the Glory of God. Under the guidance of many senior pastors and elders, members are encouraged to always seek for the truth. Faith Cathedral International Ministry’s doors are always open to all who wish to follow our Lord Jesus Christ on a critical and life changing journey of truth and salvation.

Opinion: Lessons from Rwanda and the Lingering Divide in Nigeria

post-image

By Dr. Joseph Ogundu

Rwanda’s journey from the ashes of civil war to a thriving, unified nation is nothing short of remarkable. When the brutal conflict ended, the country’s leaders made a conscious decision to abandon ethnic identities and embrace national consciousness. They prioritized unity and cohesion, ensuring that ethnic differences took a back seat to the greater goal of building a progressive, harmonious nation.

The United States offers a similar lesson in the aftermath of its civil war. American leaders worked tirelessly to reconcile their divisions, fostering a collective national identity. Over time, this effort helped to create one of the most dynamic and tolerant societies in the world, where diversity is celebrated as a strength.

In stark contrast, Nigeria stands as an unfortunate example of what happens when national unity is neglected. After the civil war, instead of fostering reconciliation and unity, Nigerian leaders opted for sloganism over genuine nation-building….

NCC’s New MVNO Licences Could Redefine Nigeria’s Telecom Industry

post-image

Nigeria’s telecommunications industry is undergoing a significant transformation as the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) licenses 43 Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs). These operators, unlike Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) such as MTN or Glo, utilize existing infrastructure to provide specialized and often more affordable services tailored to consumer needs.

Importance of MVNOs

MVNOs bring much-needed competition to the telecom market, driving innovation and creating options for personalized service packages. They promote digital inclusion by providing low-cost data plans and targeting underserved communities. By optimizing unused bandwidth from MNOs, they reduce waste and maximize network efficiency.

Advantages for Consumers

  1. Affordable Services: MVNOs often offer more competitive pricing compared to traditional MNOs.
  2. Tailored Solutions: Packages can be customized for specific user groups, such as students…
